An Upper Darby Township middle-school student has been charged with making terroristic threats after he allegedly said he was going to bring a gun to school, police said this morning.
The eighth-grade student, who was not identified by police, is currently being held at the Delaware County Juvenile detention center, according to Michael J. Chitwood, superintendent of police.
"In this day and age, it's a top priority," said Chitwood. "It's zero tolerance."
