A Delaware high school teacher has been charged with sending text messages "of a sexual nature" to a female student.
Delaware State Police say Stanley D. Zakrociemski, 36, of Millsboro, Sussex County, and a teacher at Sussex Technical High School, first began sending the messages nearly a year ago.
They continued through two days ago, police said. However, the relationship between Zakrociemski and the female student, who is now 18, never became physical. She was 17 when she first began receiving the texts.
Zakrociemski is charged with five counts of sexual solicitation of a child. He was taken to Sussex Correctional Institution on $100,000 bail.
