NEW YORK - Grant Mullins scored 18 points to lead Columbia to a 58-41 win over Penn on Saturday night in a game featuring poor second-half shooting by both teams.
Columba and Penn combined to make six field goals after halftime. The Lions shot 10 percent (2 of 20) from the floor, and the Quakers made 16.7 percent (4 of 24) of their shots.
Columbia (11-13, 3-7 Ivy League) went into halftime with a 35-25 lead and controlled the second half despite its poor shooting. The Lions, who snapped a three-game losing streak, took their largest lead at 19 points with 2:09 left to play.
