A Chester city police officer was justified in using lethal force in the shooting of a suspect in December, the Delaware County district attorney announced today.
Noahcell Bagley, 30, was killed Dec. 12 when an unidentified Chester police officer's weapon discharged during a struggle.
Bagley, the subject of an active arrest warrant, was driving a car with three passengers when the officer initiated a stop. Bagley fled the car on foot and was pursued by police. Bagley was shot and was pronounced dead at Crozer Chester Medical Center, the district attorney's office.
