Matt Cruz, the Neshaminy High School sophomore injured in a bus crash in Boston on Feb. 2, was transferred Wednesday night to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital after spending nearly a month at Boston Medical Center in critical condition.
According to the family's attorney, James Ronca, Cruz and his mother, Megan, flew to Philadelphia, where Cruz will continue treatment for head and spine injuries. The hospital said Cruz was in fair condition.
According to a statement from Megan Cruz, a fund has been set up to "help defray the costs for Matt's transportation to the hospital and his continued medical expenses."
