Hatfield Township police have obtained an arrest warrant charging Thomas Troy Young with attempted murder and other crimes in the stabbing of a 33-year-old woman early Sunday.
"Young is a family member of the victim," Officer Pat Hanrahan, a Hatfield police spokesman, said, declining to disclose the relationship.
Young, 49, was last seen driving a black 2009 Honda Accord with Pennsylvania license plate GKS-8099, police said.
At 12:38 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call at 339 Wheatfield Circle. Police said the victim, whose identity has not been released, had been assaulted with a knife. She was flown to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Police would not disclose the nature of her injuries or her condition.
