Comcast schedules ‘watchathon week’

Posted: March 14, 2013

For those who like heaping servings of TV shows, Comcast Corp. has scheduled what it's first-ever "watchathon week" with full-season episodes of current and past TV series on the Xfinity on-demand service.

The company says 3,500 episodes to 100 series, including the Walking Dead and Duck Dynasty, will be available between March 25 through 31.

Comcast says 30 premium, ad-supported and broadcast-TV networks are participating.

It's part of a current trend of TV watchers bingeing on TV shows over short periods of time.
