The body of a 60-year-old man was found at a waste management facility in Holmesburg around noon Saturday, police said.
Two workers came across the body at the facility at 5201 Bleigh Avenue by the waterfront, and the man was pronounced dead at 12:08 p.m. when medics arrived at the scene. The man was found in a pile of "paper recyclables," according to preliminary police reports, and his right leg was broken and he had facial injuries.
