Whew! LiLo gets to court, cops deal
Gotta say, that was a near thing! Yes, we're talking about Lindsay Lohan, who disappointed Vegas wagerers when she showed up in L.A. court Monday and dodged jail. It was a near thing. Skedded to fly back Saturday, she stayed in New York to go clubbin'. She didn't leave Sunday. Then Monday she hopped a charter, hit court 48 minutes late, and - went for a plea deal. At issue is whether she fibbed to cops about her car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway last summer. Plenty of haggling! LiLo even upbraided her own lawyer, Mark Heller: "Oh, my God, I'm going to kill you." She must serve 30 days of community labor (uh-oh - she hasn't done well with that!) and 18 months of psychotherapy (with credit for shrinkage already shrunk). She's got to go drug- and booze-free and submit to periodic testing. Judge James R. Dabney gave the wisest advice all day: "Don't drive."
Beyoncé talks weight
Three months after giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter last year, Beyoncé had already shed her 57 preggers pounds. And she's decided to share that life experience as the cover girl of Shape mag's April issue!
"Talking about weight can be a very touchy subject for women, but Beyoncé was willing to do it," mag editor in chief Tara Kraft tells USA Today. "She wanted to make every woman out there feel like she, too, could achieve what she did."
In a making-of vid, B says, "I am not a person who is naturally very thin. I have to work to keep my body in shape." She adds, "Everyone is not supposed to be the same. Be healthy, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you you."

NBA mends broken heart
Two days after reports of the collapse of her romantico-industrial merger with Ryan Seacrest, dancer-singer-actor Julianne Hough ( Safe Haven) on Sunday went out for a little NBA therapy with galpals Kaley Cuoco, Briana Cuoco, and Nina Dobrev. The trio saw the L.A. Lakers top the Sacramento Kings, 113-102. Neither Hough, 24, nor Seacrest, 38, has responded to the breakup rumors. But in a revealing move, Hough tweeted a photo of herself Sunday, surrounded by four girlfriends. Hashtag: "friendsarethebesttherapy." Anonymous Sources tell People the supposedly former lovers remain close friends.
The royal couple disagree!!!!!
Since 1901, Britain's royals have reviewed the Irish Brigade and passed out shamrocks. Sunday it was Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, who's preggers, and her husband, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, who's responsible. One guardsguy, Lee Wheeler, asked the babe's sex. Dunno yet, she said, but - unwitting scoop! - William wanted a girl, while she hoped for a boy.
Jackson kids sue AEG Live
Michael Jackson's children, Prince Michael, Paris, and Prince Michael II, and the late singer's mother, Katherine, are suing the company that booked MJ's This Is It tour for $40 billion, says TMZ. The family accuses AEG Live of negligent hiring and supervision of Dr. Conrad Murray, who took care of MJ. Murray has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter in MJ's death.
Why 40 bils? MJ's kids say their dad would have made at least $10 billion from the tour and much more from future earnings.
Why did Tone Loc collapse?
No new info on Tone Loc's condition. The 47-year-old "Funky Cold Medina" rapper collapsed on stage Saturday night in Des Moines, Iowa, and was taken to a local hospital, where he refused treatment. He's had seizures in the past, and it's thought that's what he suffered Saturday. No comment yet.
Lil Wayne resting
How sick is Lil Wayne? No answer, days after the artist was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after a seizure onstage on Friday. TMZ at one point said Lil is in intensive care, in a medically induced coma. Meantime, an unnamed Close Friend tells CNN the rapper is "good, just resting." Usher told fans Saturday at SXSW to pray for his pal. "One of my fellow artists, good friend, Lil Wayne, is going through a real hard time right now, y'all," he said. A celeb slew visited Lil over the weekend, including Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, and basketballer Chris Paul.
