The FBI released photos of the masked man in a suit and tie who used a pistol to rob the PNC Bank East Ambler branch on Saturday morning.

The branch, at 1015 South Bethlehem Pike, was hit at approximately 8:30 a.m. by a man dressed in a suit jacket, tie and dark pants and wearing a white cloth bag or pillowcase, with eye holes cut out, over his head.

The man, using a small black semi-automatic pistol, ordered everyone inside the bank down to the floor. No one was physically injured. No shots were fired.

He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller area and put it a black Nike drawstring bag.

He escaped on foot and was last seen heading north on Bethlehem Pike.

Officials figure he may have left the bank on foot and caught up with a car waiting for him in a nearby alley.

The subject, who was completely covered, is described as a white male about 5'10" to 6'0" tall, heavy build, about 210 pounds, wearing a brown suit coat and a brown or grey patterned tie, a light blue button-down shirt, dark pants, and light green latex or rubber gloves.

The FBI and the Upper Dublin Township Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying him.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Upper Dublin Township Police Department at 215-646-2100 or the FBI at 215-418-4000.
