3 Phila. men charged in Delco home invasion

Three Philadelphia men have been charged with the home-invasion robbery of the owner of a Delaware County delicatessen, the U.S. Attorney's Office said Friday.

Jeramiah Stokes, 23; Tyreek Styles, 25; and Tyrone Styles, 24, followed the owner of the Secane Deli & Grill to his Upper Darby home on Dec. 3, 2011, forced their way inside at gunpoint, and took money from him and members of his family, federal officials said.

Tyrone Styles allegedly fired a gun as the three fled the house.

An indictment filed Thursday charges the three with robbery and weapons violations. The charges carry mandatory 10-year jail terms, with a maximum of life in prison, the officials said. - Inquirer staff
