"If you love someone, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours." Kahlil Gibran's mushy sentiment sums up a torturous post by Jada Pinkett Smith on Monday, which purports to clarify the essence of her 16-year marriage to Will Smith.

"I've always told Will, 'You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be OK,' " Jada recently told HuffPost Live, leading some to conclude the couple have an open marriage. On Monday, Jada posed a series of questions on Facebook about the balance "between trust and love and how they coexist." She wrote, "Do we believe that the more control we put on someone the safer we are?"

She added, "Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want, because we TRUST each other to do so. This does NOT mean we have an open relationship . . . this means we have GROWN one."

The Osbournes endure?

Plaza stunt not planned

MTV insists that the bizarre Aubrey Plaza incident Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards wasn't part of the show. Plaza, a 28-year-old actor from Wilmington, Del., best known for Parks and Recreation, jumped on stage during Will Ferrell's Comedic Genius award acceptance speech and began yanking the thing out of his arms.

"Just like we rehearsed it," Ferrell said to save face.

Plaza, who also had a display ad for her film The To-Do List emblazoned across her dress, left the stage after her schtick, whereupon she was ejected from the theater.

Rebel Wilson's body

Unlike Plaza's, the stunt by Pitch Perfect actor Rebel Wilson - she let her sequined black dress slip to show a fake double nipple - was planned. The 27-year-old Aussie comic made the faux faux pas as part of a friendly harangue about body-image issues in Hollywood.
