S. Jersey Girls: Fri. S.J. girls: Cinnaminson rallies in lacrosse

Cinnaminson scored eight times in the second half on Friday afternoon to come from behind and beat visiting Delran, 15-13, in a Burlington County Liberty girls' lacrosse match.

Cinnaminson's Danielle Kenny scored five goals and Carleigh MacWilliams chipped in with four. Rachel Celpo led Delran with four goals.

Delran led, 8-7, at halftime.

Elsewhere in Burlington County Liberty play, Alex Hlesciak scored six times and Rancocas Valley won at Northern Burlington, 16-7.

Friends Schools. Noelle Smith posted four goals in host Moorestown Friends' 15-5 win against Abington Friends.

Nonleague. Washington Township, The Inquirer's eighth-ranked team in South Jersey, beat visiting West Deptford, 17-4, behind senior Kylie Callandra's two goals and four assists on senior night.

Another senior, Amanda Rey, finished with two goals and three assists.

Sterling's Tori Shinkowitz scored eight times in a 25-1 home win against Winslow Township.


Pennsville's Danielle Cornman homered and knocked in three runs for Pennsville, which earned a 5-4 win against visiting Gloucester Catholic in a nonleague game.

In other nonleague matchups:

Despite a Damali Young home run, Rancocas Valley lost at St. Hubert (Pa.), 14-7.

Gianna Rodriguez went 3 for 3 with a pair of runs for host Schalick in a 5-2 win against Glassboro.

Delsea's Jesse Tori Miller had four hits and knocked in a pair of runs in a 10-1 win over visiting Triton.

Janessa Rios went 2 for 3, knocked in a run and scored another in host Buena's 10-0 rout of Winslow Township.

Colonial. Haddon Heights' Shayla Sweeney tossed a five-inning no-hitter, striking out 13 in a 14-0 win against visiting Collingswood.

Olympic National. Jamie Robertson earned a win for Cherry Hill West, holding Seneca to two runs on five hits in seven innings during a 7-2 road victory.

Burlington County Freedom. Kaitlyn Poretti and Rachel LeVach each doubled and scored three times for Florence, which earned a 17-7 home win against Willingboro.
