Notre Dame officials announced a feasibility study to determine whether it can make better use of space at Notre Dame Stadium, which is used fewer than 10 times a year for football games, commencement and recreational events. The school is looking at attaching buildings to the stadium that could house a conference center with classrooms and meeting space, a media center, a visitors' center and other uses. They could also include about 3,000 new club seats to watch games.
* The Southeastern Conference and ESPN announced a 20-year agreement to operate an SEC network that is scheduled to debut in August 2014. SEC commissioner Mike Slive said the SEC network will produce 1,000 live events each year.

New York Jets defensive end Claude Davis and cornerback Cliff Harris were cut a day after they were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
* Phoenix police say they're investigating a domestic violence call involving Pro Bowl linebacker Daryl Washington. Sgt. Steve Martos said a woman called officers and accused the Arizona Cardinals player of being involved in the altercation.

Midfielder Stuart Holden will rejoin the U.S. national soccer team after an absence of 2 1/2 years for its training camp ahead of three World Cup qualifiers next month and for the CONCACAF Gold Cup in July. Holden has been recovering from a knee injury.
* The 2014 Corvette Stingray will be the pace car at this year's Indianapolis 500.
