Posted: May 23, 2013

After more than 36 years, Rob Jennings is retiring from 6ABC at the end of July, closing out a broadcasting career of more than four decades. He joined Action News in July 1977, starting as an announcer and director, before moving on to produce Action News Crime Fighters for 16 years. It profiled criminals, leading to the arrest of nearly 200 suspects. Jennings was inducted into the Philadelphia Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame in 2003.

Dancing queen

Kellie Pickler was the winner on Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars. The 26-year-old country singer and her professional partner, Derek Hough, finished ahead of Teen Disney Channel star Zendaya, football pro Jacoby Jones, and gymnast Aly Raisman.

Very funny

Carol Burnett has been named the winner of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor - the nation's highest humor prize. Burnett, 80, made her acting debut in 1959 on Broadway in Once Upon a Mattress, and became known for her appearances on the CBS morning program The Garry Moore Show. Her biggest claim to fame is The Carol Burnett Show, which aired on CBS from 1967 to 1978. She'll receive the award Oct. 20 in Washington. She's in august company: Past winners include Philly kid Bill Cosby, Steve Martin, Upper Darby's own Tina Fey, and Ellen DeGeneres.

Getting the pants sued off her

Drama never sleeps for Lindsay Lohan.

According to E!, apparel manufacturer DNAM, which partnered with LiLo's leggings line 6126, is suing her. Her bad reputation, say they, has tarnished the credibility of the company in the eyes of consumers. The claim also states that although her line was successful in department stores after its reveal in 2010, come spring of 2011 "buyers canceled appointments, and customers canceled orders."

So, how much is LiLo's bad behavior costing her this time? $5 million. That's a lot of slacks.

Pauly D goes Gatsby!!!

Paul DelVecchio, a.k.a. DJ Pauly D, former Jersey Shore cast guy, has left his signature blowout hairstyle in Seaside Heights, according to US Weekly.

In an Instagram photo, he unveiled a new, flattened and sleeker hairstyle - accompanied by a suit and everything!!! The photo, "liked" by more than 87,000 of Pauly's Instagram followers, included the caption "#TheGreatDJGatsby !!!"

They'll be . . . back?!

Wait - Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriverstill aren't divorced?

Apparently not.

According to TMZ, the couple is in no hurry to make the split official, though all monetary and custody issues have been settled. Arnold and Maria have four children together, and reportedly are worth approximately $400 million.

TMZ gives two lines of speculation: 1. In light of the nine-figure figure above, the divorce really won't affect them much at all, so why rush? 2. According to Sources yakking to TMZ, maybe, just maybe, there's still hope for the couple to rekindle their relationship.

Hmm . . .

Ke$ha sets tastefulness record

How to report this? The nasty, dirty singer Ke$ha, who would flay a dead marsupial in the road if it got her headlines . . . well, she has an MTV show, Ke$ha: My Crazy, Beautiful Life. And last night, she, um, drank or threatened to drink a liquid she made. And we don't mean in a blender. It's a fitness strategy. We imagine it would tamp down the ol' appetite.

Small little tiny items proliferating

Nick Jonas and Giuliana Rancic will cohost the 2013 Miss USA competition in Las Vegas on June 16, its website says.
