National Penn Bancshares Inc., Boyertown, promoted Daniel Wiekrykas to executive vice president and director of its Commercial Real Estate Lending Group from senior vice president and Commercial Real Estate Lending regional manager.

   Univers Workplace Solutions, a Hammonton provider of strategic benefit communications, enrollment, and administration solutions, has named Craig Maloney president. He had been executive vice president and division general manager for Aon Hewitt Healthcare Exchanges.

Presby's Inspired Life, a not-for-profit developer of continuing care and affordable housing for seniors in Lafayette Hill, has appointed Sarah Jolles executive director of sales and marketing at its Rydal Park and Rosemont Presbyterian Village retirement communities. Jolles was most recently director of sales at the Hill at Whitemarsh.

   Regulatory DataCorp Inc., a King of Prussia provider of risk intelligence, hired Anthony Capon as vice president of data strategy. He had been vice president of content for Dow Jones.

Dilworth Paxson L.L.P., Philadelphia, named Timothy J. Carson a partner and member of its public-finance practice. Carson was a partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath L.L.P., Philadelphia.

Capehart Scatchard, Mount Laurel, named Ralph R. Smith III vice chairman of its labor and employment law department. Smith had been a partner at Duane Morris L.L.P. in Cherry Hill. Nancy J. Johnson has joined the firm's workers' compensation department as a shareholder. She had been with Weston Stierli McFadden & Capotorto in Parsippany.

Heffler, Radetich & Saitta L.L.P., a Philadelphia CPA and consulting firm, hired Kia D. Buckner as a principal, responsible for managing the firm's audit department. Buckner had been audit senior manager at Mitchell & Titus L.L.P.

Richard N. Best Associates, a Levittown provider of planning and installation of parking, access and revenue-control systems, hired Don Vennell as account executive. He is a veteran parking-industry sales representative and had been a regional sales representative for 3M (formerly Federal APD).

Altitude Marketing, Emmaus, has promoted Fred Zahradnik to director, digital marketing, from manager, digital marketing.

Donald A. Dyson has been named director of the CenterforHuman Sexuality Studies and associate dean for the School of Human Service Professions at Widener University. He formerly served as the center's doctorate program director.

Weichert Relocation Resources Inc., a Morris Plains provider of workforce-mobility management, hired Mike Cahill as vice president, business development, responsible for growing new business throughout the eastern United States. He had been vice president of business development for Graebel Van Lines.

Paul Forfia has been appointed associate professor of medicine at Temple University School of Medicine, and medical director of the Pulmonary Hypertension and Right Heart Failure Program in the Temple Heart and Vascular Center. Forfia most recently was medical director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

DMW Direct, a Philadelphia direct-response advertising agency, announced the following hires: Lynette Byrnes has joined the company as list media buyer; she had been an account supervisor and quality-control director at FWD-direct. Steve Gupton has joined as associate creative director; he held the same post at D4 Creative. Jeni Lee has joined as account manager; she had been a member of the account-services team at Thomas J. Paul Inc. Lesley Messier has joined as client accountant; she had been with People Share Temporary Staffing and Diagonal Consulting. Wade Peters has joined as senior production manager; he most recently served as account/production manager at Innerworkings Inc. Jeannine Reilly has joined as creative-services director; she had been marketing and MediaLab manager at Interstate General Media L.L.C., which owns The Inquirer, the Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com. Hayim Weiss has joined as data-analytics administrator; he had been an institutional research analyst on the enterprise data warehouse team at the University of Delaware.

  George Matteo has been hired as of counsel in the real estate and finance department at Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg. He is the founder and chairman of Cornerstone Bank, Mount Laurel, and had been a partner at Wolf Block before leaving to head the bank.

Theorem Clinical Research, a King of Prussia contract research organization that provides clinical research and development services, hired Connie Wierman as vice president of biopharmaceutical development. She had been vice president of clinical development in oncology for INC Research.

ACE USA, the Philadelphia-based retail operating division of the ACE Group, appointed Alexander Wells senior vice president and national underwriting manager of its custom casualty division. Wells most recently served as senior vice president, ACE Excess Casualty. Craig Hanrahan has been appointed senior vice president, foreign casualty cash flow, within the ACE Foreign Casualty division. He had been senior vice president, ACE Excess Casualty.

Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Brian Said as executive director of its tourism division. He had been director of travel trade development at the San Diego Tourism Authority.

   Elizabeth Mathis has been named executive director of admissions at Moore College of Art & Design, effective June 10. She is director of graduate recruitment strategy at Savannah College of Art & Design, Savannah, Ga.

  Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Philadelphia, hired Kathleen Stanczak as a senior client manager in its business banking division. She had been principal relationship manager in the business banking group at Wells Fargo.

Trice Orthopedics Inc., a King of Prussia life-sciences and medical-device start-up, named Richard H. Washburn president. Washburn, who has 20 years' experience in new product development and medical-device commercialization, most recently was president of Core Essence Orthopaedics Inc.
