Soul expects no impact from Utah's home-arena troubles

THE TROUBLES the Utah Blaze is having in regaining a home field should not impact its ability to play road games, including a visit to Philadelphia on July 12.

"As far as we know," Soul general manager Tom Goodhines said, "there is no change with the schedule, and we are playing."

The Blaze recently was evicted from EnergySolutions Arena for being behind $120,000 in rent, according to a report in the Salt Lake Tribune on Friday.

The team reportedly was trying to rectify its finances, including possibly adding another investor, to host this Saturday's game against San Jose.
