'Tingly' after lightning strike, man goes to hospital

A maintence worker at the Glen Mills School in Delaware County was taken to the hospital as a precaution when a nearby lightning strike left him feeling "tingly," officials said.

The unidentified man was working on one of the school's baseball fields with a weeder around 2 p.m. when the incident occurred. He was able to walk on his own into an ambulance, said Jay Halverson, diector of special services at the school. The man was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, he said.

The school is a residential facility for troubled youths.
