Temple University Hospital and the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals, a union covering 1,600 registered nurses and allied professionals, have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract, the organizations said.

The proposed contract runs for three years starting Oct. 1. Further details on proposed settlement were not available.

Ratification meetings are scheduled for Thursday.

Two years ago, union members at the hospital were on strike for 28 days. - Harold Brubaker
