Late Sopranos star James Gandolfini left the bulk of his estimated $70 million estate to his 13-year-old son, Michael, and 8-month-old daughter Liliana, the New York Post reports. The remainder is divided between his wife, Deborah Lin, and other family members. The actor died of a heart attack June 19 in Rome.

Steve Martin's wallet

Actor-comic-musician Steve Martin, 67, personally thanked a Wilkes-Barre man for returning his lost wallet. Martin lost it when he was having a bike ride before his Tuesday concert with the Steep Canyon Rangers and guest star Edie Brickell.

"The gentleman couldn't have been sweeter, nicer, kinder," Martin's rep tells USA Today, "and his Batman-like rescue of [the] wallet is one more reason to remember Wilkes-Barre."

No Lovato in Phila.

Teen pop star Demi Lovato has pulled out of the Philly 4th of July Jam, the free fireworks and music Independence Day celebration set for Thursday night on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

The reported reason is a sore throat. The former Disney star has had a rough time of it in recent years. She spent time in rehab in 2010, and her father, from whom she was estranged, died last month.

Her spot on the bill, which also includes the Roots, John Mayer, Jill Scott, Ne-Yo, Grace Potter and Ben Taylor, will be taken by clean-cut country star Hunter Hayes, 21, who is apparently close friends with Stevie Wonder as well as being quite popular with the teenage girl demographic Lovato specializes in.

Displaying his vanity

Jay-Z proclaims that the cover art for his 12th LP, Magna Carta Holy Grail, will be put on display at Salisbury Cathedral in England, alongside one of the four surviving original copies of the 1215 Magna Carta document, USA Today reports. A great injustice to the rapper, whose work far outstrips one of the foundation stones of civil society.
