Bensalem police say they've arrested a man who robbed a bank and a gas station earlier this week.
Nicholas Canterbury, 28, of Bensalem Township, allegedly robbed a Sunoco on Hulmeville Road on Monday and then a TD Bank on the same road on Wednesday. Each time, he implied he had a handgun and demanded money, police said.
Police released few details regarding how they caught Canterbury, but said they tracked him to a motel in Pennsauken, Camden County. He has been charged with two counts of robbery, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. He's awaiting extradition.
