Andrew Chirls, former chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, joined the Philadelphia law firm of Fineman Krekstein & Harris P.C. as of counsel. He was a partner at Haines & Associates for the last four years.

George R. Kolb was named associate vice president for alumni relations at Villanova University. He had been assistant vice president for athletics development and interim associate vice president for alumni relations.

AIM Academy, Conshohocken, a grades 1-12 school and center of professional development in the area of learning differences, hired Nancy Hennessy as director of academic and professional practices and Joyce Rehorst as interim head of the lower school. Hennessy is an educational consultant, author and past president of the International Dyslexia Association. Rehorst is a teaching professional, curriculum director and consultant.

M&T Bank promoted Philadelphia native Bernard T. Shields to administrative vice president from vice president. Shields is a member of the commercial real estate group.

Cline Group, a Philadelphia and Tel Aviv, Israel, strategic marketing and communications agency, hired Jade Trombetta as vice president, public relations. She had been an account supervisor at Brian Communications.

First Federal of Bucks County, a Bristol-based federally chartered mutual savings bank, hired Gary Fox as vice president-commercial lending. He was senior vice president of commercial lending at First Savings Bank of Perkasie.

Friedman L.L.P., New York, added partners Dominic A. Caglioti and Mark A. Nicastro to the tax and audit departments in its Marlton office. Both men had been partners at ParenteBeard L.L.C.

WeiserMazars L.L.P., a Philadelphia accounting, tax and advisory-services firm, hired Steven M. Greene as director of its insurance tax services group. He had been a senior manager at Ernst & Young's Financial Services Office-Insurance Tax Practice.

Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co., Horsham, elected Eileen C. McDonnell chairman of the board in addition to her role as president and chief executive officer of Penn Mutual.

TD Bank promoted David S. Le Munyon Jr. to vice president, store manager, of a branch in Atco. He had been assistant vice president, store manager, in the Cross Keys store in Sicklerville.

William Maul Measey professor of surgery and chief, division of cardiovascular surgery, has been appointed director of the Penn Medicine Heart and Vascular Center. He will continue his role as chief of cardiovascular surgery.

Parker McCay, Mount Laurel, promoted Carl Tanksley Jr. to counsel in its Lawrenceville, N.J., office, from senior associate.

Hospice Compassus, Philadelphia, part of a nationwide network of community-based hospice programs based in Nashville, has promoted Karen Myers to executive director for the program serving Philadelphia and the surrounding area. She had been director of clinical services for the Hospice Compassus program in Willow Grove.

Rosetta B. Packer joined Ballard Spahr as a partner in the Philadelphia office. Packer was a partner in the Philadelphia office of McCarter & English.

University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, named John E. Vitali vice president of finance and administration. Vitali had been executive vice president for finance and administration and CFO at the Brooklyn (N.Y.) Public Library.

Lincoln Investment Inc., Wyncote, hired Elvis Medica as vice president, business development consultant. He had been senior regional consultant with Genworth Wealth Management and served in the Army National Guard as a captain, deploying to Afghanistan in 2003.

Nuvon Inc., a Philadelphia electronic medical records company, hired William R. Weeks as chief operating officer. Weeks is the former founding partner and CEO of IMA Consulting.
