HATS OFF to Reds first baseman Joey Votto, who helped make a dying fan's wish come true.
Jeffrey Crews, of suburban Dayton, died of brain cancer on July 4 at the age of 62.
But 2 days earlier he had one of the best days of his life.
When Votto found out the terminally ill man wanted to attend a game, the Reds' first baseman arranged for field-level seats for Crews, his wife, three children and daughter-in-law.
Votto chatted with the family, posed for a photo and gave Crews an autographed bat.
Then, to top it off, Reds starter Homer Bailey pitched a no-hitter against the Giants.
