A Croydon, Bucks County, man has surrendered to police on charges of having more than 100 photos of child pornography on his cellphone, the Delaware County District Attorney's Office said.

Jeffrey Howard Warshaw, 43, was arraigned Wednesday and remanded to the Delaware County jail after not posting bail.

The photos were found by Warshaw's girlfriend, who called Collingdale police.

She told them she was checking Warshaw's cellphone because she suspected he was cheating on her. She found e-mails from Warshaw to other females stating that he "liked them young" and wanted to have sex with them, according to court papers. Warshaw then blurted out to police that he "should have erased the photos," according to the documents.

Warshaw was asked to provide police with a statement explaining what was on his phone.

In the statement he wrote that the phone might contain "pornographic videos with underage children, however, I'm not sure." He said there were photos of underage girls and "regular" porn videos on the phone, according to court papers.

Police seized the phone and turned it over to state police for forensic analysis.

More than 100 images or videos of child pornography were found on the Motorola Droid Razr, according to court documents. Some of the images or videos were of infants and toddlers in sexual acts or poses, according to the documents.
