AN 11-YEAR-OLD girl is in critical condition after being struck by an SUV yesterday while riding her bike on Roosevelt Boulevard, police said.

The crash comes just two days after Samara Banks, 27, and three of her four young sons were killed crossing the Boulvard at 2nd Street, just about a mile south from yesterday's accident.

Police said the girl was crossing the southbound inner lanes at Garland Street about 5:30 p.m. when she was struck by a 2003 Cadillac Escalade. They said she was traveling against the light.

The girl was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where she was listed in critical condition with head trauma and a possible broken arm.

Police said the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.
