A 25-year-old man was killed Saturday morning when his vehicle, traveling in the wrong lane, struck an oncoming car, police said.

Angelo Mills was killed just after 2:30 a.m. when he drove northbound in the southbound lane of the 4000 block of Aramingo Avenue, just north of where the road crosses the Frankford Creek from Port Richmond into Frankford, police said.

Mills, of the 1600 block of Strahle Street in Rhawnhurst, was driving a 1996 Honda Civic when he hit a 2005 Buick LeSabre, which was then forced into a third vehicle.

Mills was pronounced dead at the scene.

The three people in the Honda Civic were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital. The most seriously injured, a 20-year-old passenger, was listed in critical condition Saturday after she sustained internal injuries, police said.

The other passenger, a 22-year-old man, was in stable condition. The driver of the Civic, a 43-year-old woman, was in stable condition after breaking her left ankle.
