A teen on Monday became the third person arrested in connection with a Camden County shooting last week that left one man dead and another injured, authorities said.
The 17-year-old Willingboro boy, whose name was not released, was charged with robbery in connection with the July 15 fatal shooting of Lamar Ortiz, 20, in Gloucester Township.
Another teen has been charged with murder and attempted murder, and a 20-year-old man has been charged with felony murder and robbery. Authorities allege that the trio planned to rob Ortiz under the guise of a drug deal. When Ortiz tried to walk away, he was killed. An 18-year-old man who was with the three defendants was grazed by a bullet. He is not expected to be charged in the case. - Robert Moran
