Let us begin with that most beautiful event, birth - which, we are assured, happens not only to royal families and celebrities, but also to all humans.

Jimmy Fallon, 38, has revealed that the baby girl his wife Nancy Juvonen Fallon delivered on Tuesday has been named Winnie Rose Fallon. "I'm the father of a beautiful baby girl," he said during his Late Night monologue Wednesday, "and she's so cute. She's 5 pounds, 9 ounces."

Facts of Life alum Kim Fields, 44, and hub Christopher Morgan, 37, are expecting a boy in early December. They will name him Quincy Xavier, says People.

Devious Maids' Dania Ramirez and hub Bev Land are expecting twins, says People.

An OK! mag report that Blake Lively, 25, and hub Ryan Reynolds, 36, are expecting their first tyke is "100 percent false," her rep tells the New York Daily News.

Reasons we love Jennifer Lawrence

The Hunger Games' Jennifer Lawrence, 22, had a lil' freakout when she ran into veteran movie star Jeff Bridges, 63, at Comic-Con in San Diego, and it was filmed by a crew from Extra. She tried to greet him, but ran away, then came back after composing herself. "I'm such a huge fan. Oh, my God, I'm so sorry," she said.

Doing the Carlton dance

Alfonso Ribeiro tells Yahoo! TV that guys are always stopping him at public lavs around the world and asking him to do the Carlton, the sublime dance his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air character Carlton Banks made so famous. So when will Alfonso hook up with Will Smith for a proper Fresh Prince reunion gig? "There will never be a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" reunion, he says. Ouch!

Roman Polanski victim tells all

Samantha Geimer, who was raped by Roman Polanski when she was 13, will "tell her story for the first time" in 35 years in The Girl: A Life in the Shadow of Roman Polanski, due Sept. 17. The book's cover shows a pic of Geimer taken by the director during his first photo session with her. He raped her after their second session.
