A Philadelphia man suspected in a Montgomery County kidnapping and homicide has been arrested, the District Attorney's Office said Tuesday.
Andre "Dre" Collier, 25, was captured Monday as he fled a mobile home in Beaver Meadows, Carbon County.
He was arrested by officers from the U.S. Marshals Service, state police, the Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force, and other agencies.
Collier was charged with murder, kidnapping, conspiracy, robbery, and related crimes in the May 5 slaying of Kareem Borowy, 19, who was abducted by several men during a robbery at his West Pottsgrove Township home.
Less than a half-hour later, a motorist saw a man, later identified as Borowy, lying near the street about five miles from his home, waving a hand and yelling for help. Bowory was later pronounced dead at the scene.
