DONOVAN McNABB just doesn't get it. No matter the subject, he doesn't seem to grasp the situation.
On his NBC Sports radio show on Tuesday, McNabb said that quarterback Robert Griffin III was being "brainwashed" by the Redskins.
Griffin, the 'Skins' second-year franchise QB, is recovering from a torn ACL and is itching to get back on the field. But the Redskins are trying to be the voice of reason, telling RGIII, "Whoa, big fella, let's not rush things."
It seems McNabb wants to counsel the young man. But it seems the young man does not want to be counseled by McNabb. And McNabb, who burned bridges in Washington after feuding with head coach Mike Shanahan, is taking it personally.
