Dorothy Hunt Allebach, 89, a former office manager in Woodbridge, died of pneumonia Saturday, Aug. 24, in Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Haddonfield, she lived there before moving to Woodbridge in 1954.
A 1939 graduate of Haddonfield High School, she earned a bachelor's at Centenary College in Hackensack in 1942.
Mrs. Allebach spent her career with State Farm Insurance Co., retiring as the manager of its office in Woodbridge, her daughter, Mary Lee Montgomery, said in a phone interview.
After retiring from State Farm, her daughter said, Mrs. Allebach worked as a substitute teacher for the Woodbridge Township School District.
