Enechionyia verbally commits to play hoops at Temple

Posted: September 10, 2013

OBI ENECHIONYIA, a 6-8 forward from the St. James (Md.) School, announced via Twitter that he will play for Temple.

As a junior last season, the Nigerian native averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks a game. He'd generated interest from a number of good programs but his only other offer was from Georgia Tech, which he was scheduled to visit next week.

He cannot officially sign a national letter of intent until the early period in November. And Temple coach Fran Dunphy cannot talk about him until he does.
