Beverly Anne Young, 79, of Southampton, former nursing administrator at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, died at Seacrest Village Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Little Egg Harbor, N.J., on Thursday, Sept. 12, following a stroke.

Born in the Overbrook neighborhood of Philadelphia, she graduated from the nursing program at Miscericordia University in West Philadelphia.

She then became a registered nurse in the Navy stationed in the United States, her daughter Mary Citrolo said.

After working at Deborah, she worked for a South Jersey office of the American Red Cross and retired as a nursing administrator for Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse Agency in Mays Landing, N.J.

Besides her daughter, she is survived by son John C., a brother, and her former husband, John Citrolo.

A viewing was set from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Lechner Funeral Home, 24 N. Main St., Medford, and from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, until an 11 a.m. memorial service there.
