S. Jersey Girls: Fri. S.J. girls: Pennsville succeeds in double OT

Pennsville 1, Pitman 0 (2 OT): Casey DePew notched the overtime winner to lead the Eagles to the home victory. DePew scored from 40 yards with five minutes left in the second overtime. Alyssa Whipkey stopped seven shots for the shutout.


New Egypt 6, Maple Shade 1: Casey McKenzie and Michaela Schenker earned hat tricks in the Warriors' triumph in Maple Shade. New Egypt outshot the Wildcats, 38-5. MaryKate Wilson scored for Maple Shade.

Delran 6, Pemberton 0: Sophomore Katie Luber scored twice in the first half of the Bears' victory. Bryn Kelly, Brianna Taylor, Shayna Wiggins, and Cassie Kennedy also scored in the home win. Kennedy's goal was the first of her varsity career.


Seneca 4, Cherry Hill West 1: Three goals in the first half helped the Golden Eagles cruise to victory. Lauren Bogardus scored twice for Seneca. Goalie Jessa Hay held the Golden Eagles' back end steady with six saves. Taylor Gentile scored for visiting Cherry Hill West.



Moorestown Friends 1, Sterling 0 (OT): Gina Tamburri scored for the Foxes with 31/2 minutes remaining in the first overtime period. Lauren Brill stopped all 10 shots she faced for Moorestown Friends. Mia Nardone made 17 saves for the Silver Knights.


Florence 5, Palmyra 0: Nicole Myslinski registered a hat trick as Florence edged host Palmyra. Rachel LeVach and Emily Awdiok also scored for the Flashes. Mackenzie White made 20 saves for the Panthers.


Haddon Township 1, Pitman 0: Hannah Clifford scored with 26 minutes remaining to lift the Hawks over tournament host Pitman. Jillian Caputo made eight saves in the victory.

Lower Cape May 2, Cherry Hill West 1: Logan Walter scored with 11 minutes left in regulation to help Lower Cape May down the Lions. The Tigers and Haddon Township will meet in the tournament's championship game at noon Saturday. Cherry Hill West and Pitman will play in the consolation game at 10:30 a.m.
