Philadelphia police this week identified a suspect in the beating of a blind man in Germantown that people watched on video police posted online.
Police have a warrant for Mustafa Guyton, 29, of the 300 block of West Logan Street, in the Oct. 2 assault at Seymour Street and Wayne Avenue. Footage captured by a police security camera shows a man knocking the victim to the ground, then punching and kicking him as he lay motionless in the street.
The attack happened around noon in front of several passersby. In the video, one man can be seen crossing the street, looking back at the attacker and the 33-year-old blind man, pausing briefly, and continuing on his way.
