THINGS TO WATCH

Towson is eighth nationally among FCS teams in scoring, averaging 40.8 points per game, and Villanova must stop a ground game led by junior Terrance West, who has rushed for 886 yards (5.8 average) and 15 touchdowns.

Villanova QB John Robertson, who has been sacked 12 times, will have to use his scrambling ability against a Towson team that leads the CAA with 22 sacks.

THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW

Towson has come back from double-digit deficits the last two weeks. The Tigers trailed Stony Brook 14-0 in the first quarter and 21-10 after halftime before winning, 35-21. Last week, Towson trailed New Hampshire 20-3 in the first nine minutes of the game before earning a 44-28 win.

Villanova starting center Ross Hall and slot receiver Jamal Abdur-Rahman are expected to return after missing last week's 20-16 win over William and Mary because of injury. - Marc Narducci
