Anderson, who was waived by the Houston Rockets this past summer, has been a solid pickup for the Sixers. The 6-foot-6, 206-pounder averaged 13.9 points and made a team-best 48.6 percent of his three-point shots in the preseason.
"I think a lot [of three-point success is] being in the right place," Anderson said. "Evan [Turner] and [Michael Carter-Williams] have a good IQ. And they look for me a lot once they drive. So I try to be in the area so they can see my face and dish the ball out."
His preferred three-point spot to shoot from is "the break on the wing. They do a good job of finding me on that spot," Anderson said.
Forward Arnett Moultrie is in Week 5 of his rehabilitation after undergoing surgery on his left ankle.
"By Week 8, I'll be cleared to play and that's around Thanksgiving," Moultrie said. "It's up to me to get in shape from there."
The 6-10 Moultrie was in a walking boot Wednesday after using crutches for the first four weeks.
First-year Sixers coach Brett Brown's parents, Bob and Bonny Brown, made the trip from Scarborough, Maine, to watch the game.
