Christopher Dock squandered an early two-goal lead in Wednesday night's District 1 Class A girls' soccer final against Delco Christian. But the late heroics of junior Bailey Kratz bailed out the Pioneers, giving them a 3-2 overtime victory.

In the 19th minute, Kratz stuck a shot from 15 yards past goalkeeper Jamie Barr for her fifth goal in her last two games. Three minutes later, Dock junior Mattasyn Shisler got behind the Knights defense on a breakaway and put her team up, 2-0.

But Delco responded 11 minutes later when Alex Thompson scored from just outside the offensive box to shift the game's momentum.

Six minutes into the second half, Delco Christian evened the score when junior Julia Kyne scored on an empty goal.

Christopher Dock 2 0 1 – 3
