Myles verbally commits to Drexel

WITH SENIORS Chris Fouch and Frantz Massenat ready to start their final seasons at Drexel (barring something like the season-ending injury Fouch got a year ago), the Dragons needed some young guards. The first two members of the Drexel Class of 2014 were Roman Catholic point guard Rashann London and Chelsea, Mass. combo-guard Sammy Mojica (The Brimmer & May School).

Yesterday, coach Bruiser Flint got a third verbal commitment - Tyshawn Myles, a 6-8, 225-pound forward from New York City's Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School (WHEELS).

"He's clearly a high-level athlete," WHEELS coach Josh Krinsky said of Myles. "He's already an excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor, great shot-blocker, rim-protector. What people are really interested about is how well he runs the floor rim to rim for a big man. He can outrun pretty much any big we've come across so far and does really well on the AAU circuit doing that too."
