Baby boom for reality TV stars

Posted: January 03, 2014

GASP. THAT'S the sound of Temporary Tattle taking a deep inhale. She's held her breath a whole month, awaiting Life & Style's release of exclusive photos of weeks-old twinsies Kaia and Kane, the latest members of Club Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann.

Mommy Zolciak is a onetime "Real Housewife of Atlanta" and star of the Bravo spin-off "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding." She is currently being sued by former castmate Kandi Burruss for profits made from their, er, hit single, "Don't Be Tardy for the Party."

Daddy Biermann plays defensive end for the out-of-the-playoffs Falcons.

The new issue of the weekly gossip mag features a photo of the newborns reclining upon what appears to be white fur. Kane sports fleecy white footie bottoms and a matching cap, and appears to be eating the right arm of sister Kaia, who rocks a requisite pink tutu, lacy ankle socks and coordinating bathing cap adorned with a pink scrubby.

The magazine spread also features a shot of Biermann in his jammies, and one of mom-of-six (six!) Zolciak, in a plunging white satin robe, sans signature blonde wig, proudly displaying the twins.

Kaia and Kane join big brothers Kash, 17 months, KJ, 2, and half-sisters Ariana, 12, and Brielle, 16.

Zolciak said she's stopping at six. Let's hope so, lest the family is forced to bestow nearly normal "K" names such as Kourtney and Khloe and Kyle upon additional offspring.

Baby bulletin

It's a wee Dahlia for Gail Simmons of "Top Chef" and husband Jeremy Abrams. The couple welcomed their first child to the world Sunday, which means the little one will pretty much never have school on her birthday.

December was quite the year for reality TV babies . . . Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman added Kaius Jagger (a boy) to their brood. Big brother Skylar is 2.

Baby watch

Obviously, there's some kind of procreation competition among reality TV stars.

"Survivor" alums Amber and Rob Mariano announced they're expecting a fourth child, via tweeted sonogram.

Former Playboy bunny and current reality TV personality Kendra Wilkinson, three months pregnant with baby No. 2, is fearing the worst.

"I'm already getting these thick love handles," griped the mother-of-one and wife of former Bird Hank Baskett to In Touch.

Forget your run-of-the-mill maternal worries, about, you know, your unborn child's, um, health, or future in general. Wilkinson's worried most about what counts: Mommy's looks.

Wedding watch

Philly's own Eve announced she's getting hitched to British designer, motor rally founder and former race-car driver Maximillion Cooper. He put a ring on it on Christmas in Scotland.

The rapper, actress, Grammy winner and fashion designer formerly known as Eve Jeffers waited a week to share the good news with family and friends.

She chose New Year's Eve to make the news public.

This is Eve's first marriage and the second for Cooper, who has four kids, ages 4 to 10, with his first wife.

No date set yet, according to her Twitter feed.

Bikini watch

Demi Moore appeared on a beach in Mexico in a small black bikini. The 51-year-old looked predictably awesome.

Wonder of wonders, former "Real Housewife of New York" and current talk-show host Bethenny Frankel, also donned a wee two-piece to hit the beach at Miami's Mondrian Hotel. Joining her was hunky mystery-for-a-gossip-minute-man Michael A. "Mac" Cerussi III, a financial-services dude.

Frankel is divorced from Jason Hoppy, with whom she's been in a long custody battle over their 3-year-old Bryn.

Other recently revealed petite bikini wearers this holiday season included AnnaLynne McCord of "90210" and Katie Holmes. The Internet seems to care. So maybe you do, too.

The hardest word

"Transformers" and "Nymphomaniac" actor Shia LaBeouf hired a skywriter team to create a 5-mile-long "sorry" for writer Daniel Clowes. LaBeouf has admitted to plagiarizing Clowes' work for a short film he made and no one watched.

The sky-high apology followed several days of LaBeouf's Tweeted regrets. Trouble is, the actor had the message written over Los Angeles. Clowes lives in San Francisco.

And, in more trouble, LaBeouf's mea culpa seems like mucho B.S., since he's been telling various sources that in this day and age, all work is fair game for cribbing, when you're making "art."

Tell that to the people who made the movies he's been in.
