S. Jersey Boys: Middle Township holds on

The Panthers beat Ocean City, 48-46, on Yamire McNeal's free throws in overtime.

Yamire McNeal knocked down two free throws with 10 seconds remaining in overtime that proved to be the difference in Middle Township's 48-46 win Tuesday at Ocean City in a Cape-Atlantic National boys' basketball game.

Ocean City sent the game to overtime on Griffin Grimes' jump shot from the top of the key at the fourth quarter buzzer. Grimes led Ocean City with 14 points.

McNeal finished with 11 points.

Cape-Atlantic American. Khaliq Ford made two free throws with 4.5 seconds left to help Millville pull out a 61-58 win against visiting Egg Harbor Township. Ford finished with 16 points and Roberto Rivera had 15 points, seven assists, and eight steals for Millville. Quanif Ames finished with 24 points for Egg Harbor Township.

Olympic American. Josh Morgan led Lenape with 13 points in a 60-41 win at Washington Township. Cole Moody and Kelsey Gray each chipped in eight points for Lenape and Dom Nastasi led Washington Township with 14.

Olympic Patriot. Keith Washington's 25 points led Timber Creek to a 65-52 victory against visiting Winslow Township. Dikemba Amugo and Victonio Pratt each had 10 rebounds and three blocks for Timber Creek. Amugo had 10 points, while Pratt had eight.

In other Olympic Patriot play:

Cam Oztamur paced Cherry Hill West with 27 points to help the Lions slip past visiting Shawnee, 67-59. Oztamur hit four shots from behind the arc. Elijah Bey contributed 16 points. For Shawnee, Alec Warren led the charge with 16 points and was closely followed by Dean Austin, who scored 15 points.

Burlington County Freedom. Derrick Wright scored 23 points and Jelanie Glaze had 21 points to lift Burlington City to a 64-57 victory against visiting Holy Cross. Greg Kousoulis had 26 points for Holy Cross.

Burlington County Liberty. Kenny Davis' 20 points guided Burlington Township to a 74-63 win against visiting Westampton Tech. Shelby Parris chipped in 15 points and Ian Taylor had 13 for Burlington Township. Lamar Morgan led Westampton Tech with 32 points.

Colonial. Jalen Bundy netted 15 points in Woodbury's win at Audubon. Jeray Demby added 11 points for Woodbury.

Eric Dicrescenzo had 17 points, two steals and seven rebounds to lead visiting Haddon Township past Gateway, 53-46. R.J. McCullough added 11 points and four assists. Justin Fredhoff led Gateway with 18 points, and Dan Teschko had 12.

Marquise Owens dropped 28 points in West Deptford's 81-55 win at Overbrook. Will Miller led Overbrook with 16 points.

Robby DePersia scored 18 points in Haddonfield's 44-39 win against visiting Collingswood. Isac Deskin led Collingswood with 10 points.

Tri-County Conference. Trevor Rosenbaum scored a career-high 26 points to lead host Woodstown past Cumberland, 42-38. Tariq Thomas added 11. Chris Burch led Cumberland with 17. Neither team led by six at any point of the game.

Colin Rieger's 24 points paced host Pennsville in a 57-49 triumph over GCIT. Robbie Saulin added 16 points and 15 rebounds. For GCIT, Rob Brown and Ed Merenda each scored 14 points.

Nonleague. Cherry Hill East had three scorers in double digits as the Cougars routed visiting Seneca, 69-43. Timmy Perry led all scorers with 17 points. Phil Cunha tallied 15 points, and Austin Wetzler added 12 points. Carter Gimbel led Seneca with 11 points.
