Sindoni and his teammates entered Wednesday's match bent on redemption - and received it in convincing fashion.
Clearview walked away a 40-21 winner at Delsea, improving to 10-0 overall, 1-0 in the Tri-County Royal Division.
Sindoni's emotional 6-5 win over Defrance in the 182-pound bout was his team's ninth win in the first 10 bouts, putting the match out of reach for Delsea.
"We wanted this win so bad," Sindoni said. "The fact that we came into their gym and beat them, after losing to them last year, is a big accomplishment."
Delsea cruised through the first portion of the match, which started at 113 pounds, including pins by John VanBrill at 145 pounds and Kyle McMahon at 170.
Clearview was winning 36-3 before Delsea (9-2) recorded its first bonus points with a pin by Joe Fabrizio 1 minute, 59 seconds into the 195-pound bout.
Delsea followed that with two more pins - by Brian Dobzanski at 220 pounds and Greg Halikman at 285 pounds - but it was too late for the team to comeback.
"We wrestled well and things went our way," said Clearview coach Keith Mourlam. "I'm proud of our guys. They wrestled hard tonight."
