WILMINGTON, N.C. - Drexel coach Bruiser Flint was sure Freddie Wilson had a big game in him. He just wasn't sure when Wilson would produce it.
Saturday turned out to be the perfect time.
With Drexel having only nine available players, Wilson used an explosive second half to put up a career-high 16 points, leading the Dragons to a 79-63, come-from-behind win over UNC Wilmington in Colonial Athletic Association play.
"We've just been waiting for him to do what he did. He just hasn't done it," Flint said. "He made a couple shots, he got some confidence, and, honestly, that's what we've been waiting for. It's not a surprise that he did it. It's more a surprise that he hasn't been doing it."
