Haverford School wrestler gets 100th win

Haverford School's L.J. Barlow earned his 100th career win on Saturday afternoon and the host Fords won four of their five matches at the Buckley Duals.

The junior reached the milestone in a 45-26 win over Radnor. He also won by forfeit at 195 pounds in Haverford School's 57-16 win over Harriton.

Also at the Haverford School:

Dennis Burns grabbed a second-period pin at 106 pounds to lead Truman over Great Valley, 49-25. Dan Vossbein (132 pounds) and Dustin Stone (138) added back-to-back first-period pins.

Nick Chawaga earned a 7-5 decision at 152 pounds to power Great Valley past West Chester East, 57-12.

Kennett Duals. Ridley went 4-0 to capture first place at the eight-team meet.

Donte McCarthy (126 pounds), Tyler Philips (132), and Mike Houlihan (138) pieced together back-to-back pins in the Green Raiders' 54-15 win over Wissahickon.

Also at Kennett:

Glen Mills finished in second place and started its afternoon with a 48-30 win over Wissahickon. Jonathan Jordan started the bout with a pin at heavyweight.

Chichester Classic. Cardinal O'Hara scored falls in the final three weight classes to rally past Franklin Towne Charter, 39-35. The Lions trailed by 14 points before Dustin Sacchetti (113 pounds), Mike Maloney (120), and Tyler Oliver (126) won by pin.

Weslee Marshal earned a pin in 2:47 to win at 126 and Bristol downed Daniel Boone, 51-27.
