Temple opened the second half with a 19-0 run to come from behind for a 58-47 win at Cincinnati on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls (10-7, 4-3 American Athletic) trailed, 22-13, at halftime after shooting a season-low 17 percent and committing 11 turnovers. The 13 points were the least points scored by Temple in a first half this season.
Temple held the Bearcats (8-9, 1-5) scoreless for more than six minutes during the run.
"It's definitely a positive," said Temple coach Tonya Cardoza. "We haven't won two games in a row since November. But we stuck together. . . . We have some tough games coming up."
