LEON WATSON, the part-time youth-football coach accused of molesting five boys and a mentally disabled man, has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of rape and related offenses.

Watson, 24, of Diamond Street near 24th in North Philadelphia, will be formally arraigned Feb. 24 on 55 counts, including rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, corruption of minors, terroristic threats and trafficking of persons.

He's being held without bail, the District Attorney's Office said yesterday.

The accused man was a part-time coach for the Rhawnhurst Raiders football team and started his own team, the Little Vicks, according to the D.A.'s office.

The juvenile victims were three of his players who frequently slept at his house and were assaulted there, as well as two brothers, ages 8 and 9, who briefly lived with him, prosecutors said.

An anonymous tip led authorities to Watson, who was arrested Nov. 10.
