The Eagles signed former Chicago Bears wide receiver Joe Anderson on Friday. It was the team's first acquisition in nearly a month.
Anderson, from Texas Southern, played nine games during the last two seasons with the Bears. He did not record a catch, spending his time on special teams.
He returned five kicks last season for an average of 16.4 yards, with a long of 21 yards. The Bears placed Anderson on injured reserve in November with an abdominal and groin injury.
