The Joseph Fund, a Camden-based nonprofit organization that supports the Ministries of St. Joseph's Pro-Cathedral, named Susan Barrett and Edward F. Borden Jr. to its board of trustees. Borden is a shareholder at Earp Cohn P.C. Barrett is board chairman of Cornerstone Bank and retired partner and president of Dearden, Maguire, Weaver & Barrett L.L.C.

Retired Stradley Ronon partner Barbara Nugent has been appointed to the board of trustees of MetLife Funds, a family of more than 80 funds with about $140 billion in assets under management. She was also a member of Stradley Ronon's board of directors and was recently named a "Director to Watch" by Directors & Boards magazine.

Susan M. Guerette, a partner at Fisher & Phillips L.L.P., has been elected to the board of the Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital Foundation.

Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia has elected the following board members: Dave Hopkins, chief operating officer of Mark Group Inc.; Georgette Miller, lead council and founder of the Law Offices of Georgette Miller and Associates P.C., and Toby Oxholm, executive vice president for administration and strategic advancement at Rowan University.

Robert F. Moran, retired chairman and chief executive officer of PetSmart Inc., and Thomas A. Wagner 3d, founding partner and managing member of Knighthead Capital Management, have joined the board of trustees of Villanova University.

Kent C. Lufkin, president and CEO of 3rd Fed Bank, Newtown, was appointed to the board of Aria Health, Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, a private, nonprofit human-services organization, named Sheri Gifford treasurer. She is an associate administrator for behavioral health at Fairmount Long Term Care/Philadelphia Nursing Home.

Bill Harral has been elected to the board of Cradles to Crayons-Philadelphia, a West Conshohocken-based nonprofit that provides new and gently used everyday essentials to children living in low-income homeless situations. He retired as president and chief executive officer of Bell Atlantic-Pennsylvania Inc. (now Verizon Corp.).

The Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce has named Bob Welch, a partner with Academy Wealth Advisers, and Lauren Travis, an artist and owner of Travis Gallery, to its board.

Benjamin Levin, managing partner of Hyland Levin L.L.P., Marlton, was elected to the board of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey.

Nonprofit Technology Resources, a regional nonprofit working to bridge the digital divide by providing low-income Philadelphians and the organizations that serve them with access to information technology, named Aaron Kuhn and Stephen St. Vincent to its board. Kuhn is a systems administrator at Axeon Specialty Products. St. Vincent is assistant city solicitor for the City of Philadelphia Law Department. Founder and longtime executive director Stanley R. Pokras has retired, but will remain a board member and will serve as executive director emeritus.

John C. Gillespie, a Parker McCay shareholder and chair of the municipal and government practice group, has been elected to the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

University of Pennsylvania cardiologist Mariell Jessup has been named president of the American Heart Association. Rosette Carrington Lue, has been elected a board member. She is the senior adviser and chief customer service officer for the City of Philadelphia.

The Center City-based Reinvestment Fund, a nonprofit that has arranged grants, loans and other subsidies and incentives for development projects in Philadelphia's aging industrial and rowhouse neighborhoods, named John Summers, shareholder at Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, chair. Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics, is vice chair. Anthony Creamer 3d, managing director at Navigant, and Elizabeth Sur, senior vice president and credit executive at PNC Bank, were named board members.
