Wed. Pa. boys: W.C. East tops Unionville

West Chester East scored four power-play goals - including Carter Dwyer's winner in the third period - to top Unionville, 4-3, Wednesday night in the Flyers Cup Class A quarterfinals at IceLine in West Chester.

The Vikings, last year's champions, received two second-period goals from Kevin Cleary and one from Mike Roberta with the man advantage. Tyler Percival stopped 23 shots.

Also in Class A, Eric Carreras scored five goals and added three assists to power West Chester Henderson past Lansdale Catholic, 9-6, at Ice Works in Aston.

Class AA. Andrew Bily had three assists for Central Bucks East in its 5-2 win over Pennsbury in the first round at Warwick.
