Villanova guard James Bell was named Sunday to the all-Big East first team, leading a delegation of five Wildcats receiving postseason awards in the conference.

Bell, a 6-foot-6 senior, paced the sixth-ranked Wildcats in scoring with an average of 14.9 points.

Junior forward JayVaughn Pinkston, the Wildcats' leading rebounder at 6.1 per game, received second-team all-conference honors in voting by coaches. 'Nova's guard pair of junior Darrun Hilliard and sophomore Ryan Arcidiacono earned named honorable mention.

Freshman guard Josh Hart claimed a spot on the Big East all-rookie team, where he was joined by St. John's guard Rysheed Jordan, a former Vaux High star.

The six-man all-Big East first team also included seniors Doug McDermott of Creighton, Bryce Cotton of Providence and Markel Starks of Georgetown, along with junior D'Angelo Harrison of St. John's and Xavier sophomore Semaj Christon.
